Cassia House
Set well back from the main road in Doncaster, Cassia House is in a quiet location with picturesque views of the surrounding area. Cassia House accommodates 90 residents across three units, with each resident enjoying a single room with a private ensuite.
One respite room is also available, with a minimum stay of two weeks. The home includes several small lounge areas, dining spaces and courtyards, offering comfortable spots for residents to relax and socialise. At the centre of the facility is an impressive entrance plaza, which acts as a central hub.
With various services operating from Cassia House and many visitors coming through, the plaza is a great place to relax and catch up with friends and family over a coffee from the café. We support our residents socially, physically and culturally. A diverse range of activities and outings helps residents stay engaged, stimulated and connected.

Who is eligible for Residential Care?
Residential care in DML is available to you if:
● You have physical, medical, social or psychological needs that means they need care
● Your needs cannot be met more appropriately through non-residential care services
● Requires respite or residential approvals through My Aged Care
How to Apply
If you wish to apply for one of our facilities, please download and complete the following forms by clicking on both buttons below:
Following completion of the forms, please send the information to MannaCare via one of the following three options:
- Insert your digital signature and email to admissions@mannacare.org.au; or
- Print, sign, scan and email to admissions@mannacare.org.au; or
- Print, sign and mail to the Client Liaison Coordinator.
Prospective residents will also need to gather the following documents for their application:
- Current Aged Care Client Record (ACAS assessment)
- Power of Attorney
- Pension and Medicare Cards
- A copy of the “Statement of Residential Aged Care Fees and Assets Summary”. This statement is provided by the federal Department of Human Services (DHS). If you have not yet obtained this statement, go to the DHS website to download the request form.
