Funding Levels

Once your eligibility is approved via My Aged Care and you are assigned a classification, you’ll receive a quarterly budget. Below is a table of indicative funding levels:

Additional Pathways

In addition to the ongoing classifications above, other funding pathways are available:

• Restorative Care Pathway — for short‑term allied‑health/recovery support (approx. funding up to $6,000 for 12 weeks).
• End‑of‑Life Pathway — support to stay at home in final months (up to $25,000 for 12–16 weeks).
• Assistive Technology & Home Modifications (AT‑HM) Scheme — separate funding for equipment and home modifications (e.g., ramps, rails).

Who is Eligible for Support at Home?

• Are aged 65 or older, or 50 or older for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
• Need assistance to remain living safely and independently at home.
• Have completed an aged-care assessment via My Aged Care which will determine your classification, budget and service plan.
