Aged Care Quality Standards and Our Commitment
Since the introduction of the Aged Care Quality Standards in 2019, MannaCare has continued to uphold and embed these standards across all our services. Regulated by the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, these standards ensure that aged care providers deliver safe, respectful, and person-centred care.
In line with current practices, all MannaCare sites and services remain subject to unannounced visits and assessments by the Commission, which can occur at any time — including evenings and weekends.
These audits assess our performance in areas such as dignity and choice, ongoing assessment and planning, personal care, services, and organisational governance.
As the aged care sector continues to evolve, MannaCare is also preparing for the upcoming changes introduced through the new Aged Care reform. MannaCare remains committed to responding proactively to these reforms by reviewing current practices, aligning with updated regulatory expectations, and ensuring that all services continue to reflect the highest standards of care and governance.
